When we got the letter from Sinclair's lawyers the other day, we wondered why the evil empire was getting so worked up?

We thought that over the past year, Sinclair's skin had grown a bit thicker and they were no longer knee jerk reacting to every little thing written about them. In other words, we thought that Sinclair was handling themselves much better than in the past.

Then, we get the letter from the Sinclair lawyer. It seems the company read much more into our story about the FCC getting ready to start the clock again on the Tribune deal.

Sinclair did not like a comment that we wrote about FCC Chairman Ajit Pai.

Although Sinclair missed the intent of of comment, we wondered why are they getting so worked up?

Then we remembered this story from Fortune magazine and it all made much more sense.
