One Foot Out the Door in Miami

It looks like WFOR Anchor Rick Folbaum is up to pack up and leave South Florida.

The Miami Herald says that the former Fox News anchor’s agent has been shopping him around the country.

The agent has been calling News Directors in large markets with a claim that Folbaum, could be available as early as Aug. 1 according the Herald.

WFOR News Director Liz Roldan declined comment.

Folbaum seemed miffed by the question about a departure when reached Thursday on his cellphone.

“I’m not going to comment on this,” he said after a few seconds to process. “I can’t comment.”

Within days of his arrival in 2013, he and wife Kelcey Kintner paid $563,500 for a house in Weston that would be comfortable enough for their large family. By mid-2016, however, the couple sold the house for a small profit and moved into a rental.

The Herald says that while impeccably professional and polished, Folbaum has never been accused of being particularly exciting on the air.

Ouch! That one is going to leave a mark.
