Fox News Bosses: It's Time to Come Together

After a bunch of idiots showed up to the home of Fox News host Tucker Carlson and yelled threats, Fox News Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott and president Jay Wallace said released a joint statement:

"The incident that took place at Tucker's home last night was reprehensible. The violent threats and intimidation tactics toward him and his family are completely unacceptable. We as a nation have become far too intolerant of different points of view. Recent events across our country clearly highlight the need for a more civil, respectful, and inclusive national conversation. Those of us in the media and in politics bear a special obligation to all Americans, to find common ground."

FTVLive has been ranting about cable news, including Fox News, CNN and MSNBC and how they have done more to divide this country than Donald Trump, the GOP or the Dems.

It’s sad that it took a incident of a mob showing up at Carlson’s house for the bosses at Fox News to admit that maybe they are part of the problem?

But, we have a feeling those words will ring very, very hallow.

Tune into Hannity and the others on Fox News and see if they are still spewing their hate and rhetoric?

My bet is nothing will change.

Words are easy, action is hard.

But hey, nice statement.
