Palm Beach Reporter Caught up in the Current

We're guessing you can call this the new version of Current TV.​

Instead of standing on the shore and telling viewers how dangerous rip currents can be, WPTV (West Palm Beach) Reporter Ryan Calhoun ​decided to do some "look at me TV".

Calhoun wadded into the ocean waters and into a rip current that pulled him out to deeper waters.​

He was with a lifeguard when he did it and it's a good thing. He needed the lifeguard ​to help him out.
