Like a Ratings Gift From the Heavens

New England stations are looking to get a ratings gift from above.

Forecasters are calling for a huge snowstorm to blast the northeast, that could drop more than two feet of snow.

The Weather Channel's Jim Cantore is already in New England and he's packing a yardstick.

Stations all over the northeast are in full weather hype mode, milking the storm for every last ratings point.  WHDH in Boston is telling viewers this could be as bad as the "Blizzard of 78".

The Weather Channel has given the storm the name "Nemo." So were guessing it won't be long before you see promos of Jim Cantore (and his yardstick) that say something like "Jim Cantore stars in the Weather Channel Classic Finding Nemo."

FTVLive is betting that the northeast will get snow, but it will never be as bad as predicted.
