State Run TV?

For years, people have called Fox News “State Run TV” for Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

While there was no doubt that Fox News catered to the right-wing, I never bought into the whole “state run TV” thing, that was until this week.

On Thursday and Friday, as the stock market was crashing, Fox News elected not to run their stock ticker. Serval times on Friday, I tuned to Fox News and I never saw the ticker.

I wonder if that was at the request of the White House, since it was clearly not good news for people to watch their 401K take a massive hit.

You would think that a true cable news channel would want to keep their viewer informed. This week, Fox News tried to bury one of the biggest stories of the year.
