Attacking the Messenger
/The problem when having media that lean to the right, or left, is the divide in which the media does not have each other’s backs.
A perfect example of this is with The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg and him being on Signal as top White House officials explained their plans for bombing Yemen.
While there are still a lot of questions how a Reporter was in on a meeting in which officials were giving war plan details, the bottom line was her was there.
Clearly, someone at the highest level dropped the ball.
But, the White House and the right-wing media are trying to put the blame on Goldberg. The White House has stepped up their attacks on Goldberg, trying to paint him as the bad guy in all this.
The White House and many in Congress are pitting the media against each other and trying to make sure the message to the public is blurred.
The only side the Real Journalists are on, is the side of the truth.
But, the left-wing and right-wing continue their attacks on the other side and in the end, all of Journalism losses.
Watch Fox News coverage of the Goldberg incident and ask yourself this, “If this happened when Joe Biden was President, would they be saying anything close to the same thing?”
My point exactly.
