When you look at the numbers, you do have to wonder how much longer the local Nexstar stations are going to continue to keep Nexstar’s News Nation afloat.

Over the last couple of weeks, with a Presidential Inauguration and all the other big news stories happening, News Nation pull next to nothing in the demos.

For the week of January 19th, News Nation’s primetime ratings were 0.01. The week of January 26th, it jumped to a 0.02 rating in the demo.

This is a national cable news station, and there are local news stations pulling higher numbers in their market.
