News Chopper Makes Hard Landing
/The New York City Fire Department says that WABC’s News Chopper was forced to make a “hard landing” on a city baseball field.
The FD says that FDNY, NYC Emergency Management, NYPD Emergency Services, and the Federal Aviation Administration responded to the scene.
FDNY officials said no injuries have been reported. Right now, it is unclear what led up to the landing or how many people were on board the chopper; a mechanic also responded to the scene.
