New Newscasts to Be Launched in LA

It looks like The Firm is adding some newscasts in LA.

But, don’t look for the new newscast on KTTV.

Sources tell FTVLive that Fox will be adding an 8PM and a 9PM on sister station KCOP.

Fox O&O boss “Jack Abernethy wants to do news all day and all evening on all his duopolies within the next two years,” said our insider.

The KCOP newscast will be going head to head with KCAL, which is owned by CBS.
