Bumped Up the Hearst Food Chain

Hearst announces that they are moving a News Director up their food chain. 

KCCI (Des Moines) ND Allison Smith is taking over as general manager at KETV (Omaha).  Smith took over as ND at KCCI six years ago from Dave Busiek, who had occupied the spot for nearly four decades. 

No word on who the next ND will be at KCCI.
