Resurfacing in Houston

Just over 4 years ago, FTVLive told you that WFOR (Miami) News Director Liz Roldan was leaving the station and headed to KHOU in Houston.

Less than 4 years at KHOU, and the memo went out that Roidan was out at the Tegna station.

Just over 4 months after that exit, Roidan is resurfacing in Houston as News Director. But, this time it is at the little watched KIAH.

"I am honored to join the CW39 Houston family and remain here in the city where my passion for journalism began," Roldán said in a statement.  "Houston is a vibrant, diverse community with countless stories waiting to be told, and I look forward to working with the talented team here to deliver news that informs, inspires, and makes a difference." 

It’s certainly less prestigious, but she didn’t have to call the movers.
