In the Rush to be First....

It appears that NBC O&O WRC (DC) was in a rush to be first, and didn’t worry about being correct.

At 11:38am on Thursday, WRC Anchor Eun Yang told Viewers they erroneously reported that multiple people had been rescued alive during their newscast the night before.

Putting unconfirmed information on the air, gave false hope to viewers and likely to victims’ families.

There were no survivors.

Get it correct, then put it on air.
