Hannity: No Money for Wildfire Victims
/Talking to friends in California, the situation with the wildfires is worse than you most likely think.
I talked to a friend who said that they lost their home and all their belongings. They had to make a trip to Walmart to buy underwear and clothes. These people have nothing, but one (of two cars) and their cellphone.
Yet, I see media people who want to withhold money from the people of California, because they don’t like their politics.
Fox News host Sean Hannity said on his show that California doesn’t “deserve one federal dollar” because of its immigration policies. He placed blame on the wildfires because of California’s forest management.Other Fox News hosts have also chimed in, basically saying California deserves this due to their progressive values.
My God, you can hate the politicians all you want, but you’re talking about residents that have lost it all. Fox News knows that they have Trump and many of the Republicans in Congress ears. By telling them to cut off financial help, is hurting those that have lost everything.
I get that cable news (on all sides) loves to play politics and that’s fine, but when you start hurting people and families that have lost their homes, you have gone way too far.
