Raised Eyebrows in SoCal

A few eyebrows were raised at Tegna’s KFMB when Reporter Shannon Handy posted a “geisha” Christmas Card. “This year, we played homage to the geisha and our time in Japan,” Handy wrote on her post.

“If she went to Africa, would the family be dressed in blackface?” one of her co-workers asked.

We were sent some other comments, but let’s just say they weren’t appropriate for a family website.
