Gone in Norfolk

Recently, WVEC morning Weather Anchor Crystal Harper was recently selected in Coastal Virginia magazine as best local TV weather person.

Now she is the best former TV weather person.

Harper’s bio has been scrubbed from the station’s website and she let on last week that she was leaving.

In a social media post, Harper said"I was told today that this coming Sunday will actually be my very last show."

When contacted for comment, she said, "I'm not ready to talk about the specifics of where I am going next."

WVEC News Director Doug Wieder, said, "Crystal has decided to pursue a new opportunity outside of TV news. Crystal truly has been wonderful to work with over the past three years. We wish her the very best."
