The Racist in Milwaukee? (Updated)

Anyone that reads FTVLive knows that when it comes to racists and their messages, we don’t have much patience for them.

So, we’re a bit surprised that Tribune’s WITI in Milwaukee has not tried to reign in their Photographer Adam Hansen a bit on social media.

That’s him on the right holding an Emmy that he won.

Hansen posted a tweet where he shamed a kid at a baseball game for being on his phone and not watching the game.

Not sure why he had to call the kid out on social media, but ok.

But, looking through his feed brought up a number of other tweets that raise some eyebrows to say the least.

Let’s take a look at some of this guy’s past tweets:

Now, I’m not Hansen’s boss, but if I was, I would be his ex-boss, because this guy would be long gone from the station that I was working at. If I headed up the Emmy’s, which I do not, I would rescind the award after this guy’s tweets that show him holding an Emmy as he posts racist stuff.

There are a lot of people looking to get into TV news and this guy is taking up a spot of someone that will represent this business and his station much better.

As for any group of people this guy targeted on his Twitter, I want to apologize for it. This is unacceptable and let’s hope Tribune takes a closer look into it.

Update: It looks like Hansen has now deleted his Twitter account. Of course it is never easy to put the toothpaste back in the tube.
