Update: Charges Dropped Against Providence Anchor

Little was busted for "simple assault or battery" and disorderly fighting, according to a Newport Police report.
Now, the charges against Little have been dropped. As to why the charges were dropped, a court clerk told The Daily News on Thursday that she did not know why the charges were dropped. A reason for the dismissal was not immediately available from Newport police.
A WPRI released this statement: “The situation involving our employee was unfortunate and we are satisfied with its resolution,” the statement says. Little is quoted in the WPRI article: “I want to apologize to my colleagues and our viewers for the attention this incident brought to our station. I cooperated fully with the investigation and am pleased that it has been resolved.”
