Reporter Attacked While Streaming

KRCR (Chico/Redding) Reporter Meaghan Mackey was live-streaming a report on Facebook from the scene of a mass overdose in Chico when she was assaulted by bystanders.

Mackey was ok after the attack and she knows that this is the job that she signed up for when she decided to become a Journalist.

Her post to social media, shows us that she will not be in Chico long before moving up in markets.

We sorry to see some idiots attacked her, but we are happy to see someone working in TV news that gets it.

Meaghan Mackey is destined for bigger things in TV news.
