New Boss Named at Tegna Station

Tegna’s KMSB/KTTU in Tucson has named a new station manager.

Lec Coble gets the nod, coming from the now defunct Raycom, where he was serving as vice president of marketing and audience development for Raycom.

“As he has done with dozens of stations over the years, Lec will work closely with our team in Tucson to drive audience growth and assist clients in reaching new consumers and expanding their business,” said Dean Ditmer, president and general manager, KPNX in Phoenix. “Lec knows the market and Southern Arizona community well and is an obvious choice to lead our team in Tucson.”

Let’s see if Lee is thrilled about the new gig…..I bet he is.

I look forward to working with the tremendous staff to serve the community, strengthen our relationships with our viewers and grow our partnerships with our clients,” said Coble. “My wife and I have stayed connected to the community and our hearts never left. It feels great to make Southern Arizona our home once again!”

Coble and his wife, Robin, are re-locating from Alabama and he will begin his new role in the beginning of February.
