SoCal's KUSI has named a new Station Manager.

The station announced that Denise McManus has joined KUSI as Vice President / Station Manager.

The move was announced by Michael McKinnon, President and General Manager of KUSI.

“McManus’ broad knowledge of the industry, combined with a stellar record leading sales efforts at media companies around the country makes her an invaluable addition to the station,” says McKinnon.

“It is an honor to join the amazing team at KUSI,” adds McManus.  “To be at this stellar independent with its reputation for serving the local San Diego market as an important member of the news community is exciting.  I look forward to bringing fresh ideas to the market and to enhancing the valuable assets that make KUSI NEWS a leader.”

KUSI is San Dieago's independent television station competing with nine network affiliates (including Spanish language stations and PBS).  The station producers eight and a half hours a day are dedicated to local news on weekdays, and seven and a half hours a day on weekends.
