Bumped Up in Albany

Back in May, FTVLive FIRST told you that WTEN (Albany) News Director Dan Salamone is moving up the Nexstar food chain. 

Salamone is now the Director/Local Content Development at Nexstar. 

WTEN has finally gotten around to hiring a News Director to replace Salamone. 

If you thought that the station might hire a minority or a female, then you don't know Nexstar.

As is most often the case, the company went with the obligatory white guy. Sources say that Ryan Mott has been bumped up from the EP gig to the News Director.
