Bit Late on That One?

There is no doubt that WCNC (Charlotte) Chief Meteorologist Brad Panovich thinks quite highly of himself and his forecast.

You may remember that Panovich was the weatherman that said it was unlikely that Hurricane Florence was going to hit the Carolinas. History shows he missed the mark on that one.

Well Yesterday, Panovich tweeted out a forecast where he was right.

Panovich told his followers yesterday morning that the weather for the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow was going to be high 70’s to low 80’s with no rain.

He nailed the forecast, but that is mainly because the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow was player a year and half ago in August of 2017.

Doh!

This is the problem with automated tweets. It might make you look like you’re working hard, but when they go wrong, you end up on FTVLive.
