Nexstar owned WIVB has a new Reporter coming to their morning show next year.
The station announced that they have hired Gabrielle Mediak as a Reporter for their morning newscast.
She is a native of the Buffalo area, most recently she worked for Spectrum News in Syracuse and previously worked at Time Warner in Buffalo as a news assistant and producer, and as a reporter at Spectrum in the Elmira and Binghamton areas.
Looks like this might be her first job in broadcast TV.
She’ll be an on-air and digital reporter, generate content for the morning program and contribute exclusive content for the web, News Director Lisa Polster said.
She starts the new gig in January.
