Louisville Station Misses the Mark on Trump Interview

On a day when the FBI's Director is sitting before Congress to answer questions about the President of the United States, accusing his predecessor of spying on him, a Louisville station scored a one on one interview with President Trump.
Bet you know what their first question was....right?
Wrong.
WDRB Anchor Lawrence Smith never asked Trump about the FBI's testimony. In fact, the interview was just a commercial for Trump and his proposed healthcare to replace Obamacare.
Smith said on air, "The White House did make it clear the president would not answer questions about wiretapping or the investigation into Russia's role in the election. So we stuck to issues most directly important to Kentucky..."
They then let Trump ramble on with no pushback.
If the White House and President Trump are going to put restrictions on interviews, then just like any news interview, you should decline it.
I can assure you, your credibility will look much better if you tell the President, we will not interview with any restrictions on what we can ask.
Letting him just say the same old B.S. lines on healthcare proved it was nothing more than a waste of time.
Slug it "exclusive" all you want, we say it was spineless and a prime example of what is wrong with the media now-a-days.
Will your station have the guts to say "no" to the President when he puts retrictions on your interview?
