Did No One Think this might be Creepy?

On the surface, this sounds very, very creepy. 

WTVR (Richmond) Weatherman Zach Daniel was pulling up to the bus stop and asking women if he could give them a ride. He even told them he had his dog in the car. 

He was doing all this in the news car. 

Now, a strange guy, saying he has a puppy in the car and asking women if he can give them a ride, normally triggers some sort of police response. 

But, this wasn't a kidnapping, it was just another edition of "All About us" TV.
