Denver Anchor Maybe Headed to the Airport

It's a long way from American Idol, but KDVR Anchor Jeremy Hubbard is among the finalists to takeover as the voice of the train at Denver International Airport.

Denver's Airport opened up a competition to local television and radio personalities in November, and one man and one woman will be chosen.

They will replace the voices of former Coors Field and Sports Authority Field at Mile High public address announcer Alan Roach and a now-retired former news anchor from a local TV station.

No word on how much the job pays.

"Please stand back, the doors are about to close".
