New Deuce to be Named in LA?

Word is that The Firm's LA station KTTV is this/close to naming a new Assistant News Director at the Fox O&O.
No official word yet, but sources are telling FTVLive that former KMIR (Palm Springs) News Director David Reese is near the top of the list for the gig.
Reese left KMIR back in December 2016 and has a past with KTTV News Director Kris Knutsen.
Knutsen and Reese both worked together at KNBC. Resse served as Assignment Manager……while Knutsen served as Managing Editor of KNBC local pool coverage.
Could the two be together again soon?
