Waiting on Hurricane Milton

A rare gas station near FTVLive that still has some gas.

First, I want to start off by saying a huge Thank You to all of you who have emailed or texted with your well wishes for us as we wait on the hurricane.

Most of the prep work is done, just a few things left and then we will be in waiting mode.

Many of the gas stations around my house have long been out of gas. The freeway out of town is jammed packed and Disney has told all guests at the campground and lodge to get out.

We’re under a hurricane warning and a state of emergency. My biggest concern is for others and their families. My biggest concern for me is losing power or something flying through a window.

My second biggest concern is that I won’t be able to update FTVLive, and my almost 11-year streak of updating the site every day might come to an end.

If you don’t see any updates on Thursday, I can promise you it won’t be due to a lack of trying.
