Fox News Continues to Have O'Reilly's Back

There is no doubt that the fangs are out for Fox News host Bill O'Reilly. While O'Reilly did well to fend off accusations that he lied about his experience covering the war in the Falkland Islands, the story about being present at a suicide in Florida, holding a bit more water.

The Fox host has claimed on several occasions that he heard the gunshot that killed George de Mohrenschildt, a friend of JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald who committed suicide at his daughter’s home in Florida in 1977.

A number of people have stepped forward saying not only wasn't here there, he wasn't even in the state of Florida at the time.

There is no doubt that when this latest charge of lying came out against O'Reilly, he was not nearly as quick with a denial.

The Fox News Network was always mostly quiet about the latest charges of lying against their star host.

But, late yesterday, FNC released a statement saying they still got Bill's back.

The statement reads: “Bill O’Reilly has already addressed several claims leveled against him. This is nothing more than an orchestrated campaign by far left advocates Mother Jones and Media Matters. Responding to the unproven accusation du jour has become an exercise in futility. FOX News maintains its staunch support of O’Reilly, who is no stranger to calculated onslaughts.”

While O'Reilly clearly seems to be the latest anchor with a target on his back, there is once media star that has to be happy to see it.

Brian Williams.

Just saying....
