A Las Vegas TV reporter has had a gold chain snatched from around his neck by an alleged thief who did not seem bothered by the cameras was taping him.
Univision reporter Diego Santiago was working on a story about Latino day-labourers on Tuesday when he was confronted by an irate man who appeared to take offence to the Spanish-language broadcaster filming in the area, the Las Vegas Sun reports.
The man could be heard objecting to the presence of the cameras as he squared up to Santiago in a threatening manner.
After arguing for a few minutes the man suddenly lunges at the reporter's neck, breaking off his gold chain and making a run for it.
