KRIV News Director Bob Morford is leaving the Fox O&O (AKA The Firm)and sliding down the broadcast ladder to WAFF in Huntsville. 

Morford is the News Director that insiders say orchestrated the canning of his Assistant News Director and Managing Editor in an effort to save his own job. 

Morford had lost much respect from the newsroom staff and sources told FTVLive that his days at the Fox O&O were numbered. 

It appears that Morford got out while the getting was still good, but is taking a huge drop in market size to do so.
