Before the State of the union Yesterday, President Obama had lunch with the Evening News Anchors Brian Williams, Diane Sawyer and Scott Pelley.

Although it is very unlikely will will hear what was talked about. The entire luncheon was off the record.

The Big 3 weren't the only ones to break bread with Barack. Some cable hosts will also on hand, including MSNBC's Chris Matthews. ABC's George Stephanopoulos was also at the lunch.

The lunch is an annual affair. The annual lunch, which is off-the-record, allows the president to frame his upcoming speech before influential figures in TV news, all of whom will be leading or part of their networks' coverage later on.
