Mitchell has certainly lost a lot on her fastball, and while she should completely step away from MSNBC and NBC News, that isn’t going to happen.

Mitchell leaves MSNBC today, but she will stay on at NBC News as chief foreign affairs correspondent and chief Washington correspondent.
