Tegna reported their 4th quarter earnings and they said that total revenue increased 20% to $871 million. Subscription revenue increased 5% to $357 million.

Tegna also bragged that they returned $20 million to shareholders through dividends and $50 million through share repurchases during the fourth quarter.

So, why are they going around to their stations and putting good, hardworking people out of jobs?

Because, the greedy just get greedier.

Also, just a quick note, I hate any company that puts their shareholders above their employees. But hey, that’s just me.
