At Nexstar’s WIVB (Buffalo) Reporter Luke Moretti is making a move into management.

Moretti has been a Reporter at the station since 2002 and is making the move to Assistant News Director.

“It is something that seems to be right at this point in my career,” Moretti told the Buffalo News.

“Luke is an experienced journalist who knows Buffalo well,” said WIVB General Manager Joe Abouzeid. “We are looking forward to his leadership in the newsroom.”

When asked by the Buffalo News if Moretti’s investigative reporter job would be eventually would be filled, Abouzeid said that is to be determined.

In other words…No.
