The Greater Hartford area was hit by winter weather this Sunday morning, and viewers on Tegna’s WTIC were left without a Fox61 AM newscast. 

Multiple viewers reached out to the station wondering why there was no storm coverage or any news at all?

Here’s one viewer’s email that was sent to the station.

In a social media post from Anchor Angelo Bavaro, he explained that the station had eliminated the weekend morning newscast.

Tegna’s plan of profits over people is not sitting well with viewers, or employees.
