When the deadly plane crashed around 9PM, some news teams were quick to react, while others were slow.

At 9:40 PM CNN is all over it and FOX interrupted Hannity for coverage.  

Looking at the DC market, where the crash happened, WTTG is on it, WRC had a split screen with a live cam and a crawl, WJLA is showing Celebrity Jeopardy and WUSA was with Primetime Price is Right.  Nexstar’s WDVM - which actually was airing their 9pm news at the time - was airing a ski report.
