It is expected that later today CNN will make yet more staff reductions and it will likely be at least a couple of hundred people.

CNN has been priming its staff for months now and the layoffs are expected to go down today. You will also see shows that were produced out of New York or DC be produced out of Atlanta, where it is most cost effective.

NBC is also expected to make more cuts, either today or Friday. The total cuts expected to be made will likely be between 40 or 50 people.
