Word is that WTVR in Richmond is adding a hour long 4PM newscast in September.

The new newscast will start September 8th and is replacing the cancelled Steve Harvey Show.

It will give the station a number of ad spots that the politicians running in the 2020 elections will crave.

WTVR is the Tribune station which is being sold to Nexstar, who will in turn sell it to Scripps.
