Phoenix Reporter Deletes Tweet says He's Sorry

KPNX Political Reporter Brahm Resnik has been busy trying to put the toothpaste back in the tube after he posted a tweet that he has since deleted.

Over the weekend, the Arizona Republican Party Twitter account posted a scenic Arizona picture and captioned it, "One people. One land. One Arizona."

Resnik responded with this tweet, which he has since deleted:

The translation is, "One people. One land. One leader" — a Nazi slogan.

Kelli Ward, chairwoman of the Arizona Republican Party, and U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar slammed Resnik for the tweet, as did many of their Twitter followers.

Resnik pulled down his tweet and followed up with this:

The Tegna station nor its News Director George Davilas have commented on Resnik’s slam of the Arizona GOP.

Then again, Davilas might be more worried about his Emmy nominations.

Just saying….
