Last week, FTVLive told you that Sinclair is suing former WPEC Reporter Lauren Hills.

Hills left the station and the TV business altogether and Sinclair sued her, despite the fact that she left the TV news business. 

Sinclair claims Hills owes it $17,500 for leaving the station in 2016 before her $46,500-a-year contract was up.

Now a GoFundMe page has been set up in Hills name to try and raise money for her fight against Sinclair. 

The page says:

Help stop a bully! Sinclair Broadcasting  is trying to make an example of one of the most decent people I’ve ever known. Lauren Hills is a class act, a crackerjack reporter and someone of integrity. 

Sinclair broadcasting is trying to bully her ——using money as a scare tactic.  They are suing Lauren for leaving her poorly paid job as a reporter to seek greener pastures in public relations. 

 Help us collect a fund to pay her legal bills. It’s a worthy cause that everyone who enjoys the privilege of the first amendment should find worthy.
