Breaking the News in Chicago

While FTVLive told you on Sunday of Nexstar’s plans to but Tribune, many regular TV viewers did not find out the news until Monday morning.

Tribune’s WGN in Chicago had morning Anchor and former FTVLive TV News Person of the Year Robin Baumgarten tell viewers that her station was going to be bought by Nexstar.

Doesn’t see look so happy about the sale?

To be fair, Robin does not get excited about much.

Also, if I can give some advice to my friends at WGN’s Morning News.

I know you guys like to take well deserved shots at your owners and bosses, but I have a stack of letters from the Nexstar attorneys that will prove to you that they and Nexstar CEO Perry Sook have a very thin skin.

Just be warned.
