WXII (Winston-Salem) Anchor Jarred Hill is leaving the station, but not that company that owns it.

Hill is becoming the DC Reporter for Hearst Television stations across the country.

Hill has worked at WXII since December 2015, most recently serving as co-anchor of the 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.

He starts his gig in DC next week.
