Headed to The Firm in Houston

A Twin Cities Reporter is getting out of Minneapolis just before old man Winter comes in, which is a very smart move.

What might not be as smart, she's headed to The Firm's Houston station.

KARE Reporter Ivory Hecker is joining KRIV as a General Assignment Reporter early next month.

In making the announcement, News Director, Susan Schiller stated, “Ivory will make a great addition to the FOX 26 team because she brings a passion and versatility to her reporting, whether she’s covering breaking news, a city council meeting, or a feature story.”

Most recently, Hecker served as a reporter and early morning anchor for KARE in Minneapolis. Prior to that, she held the position of Reporter at stations including WLEX-TV in Lexington, KY, WACH-TV in Columbia, SC, and KBJR-TV in Duluth, MN.

Hecker added, “I can’t wait to be a Texan, sharing Houston’s stories and working alongside a great group of professionals who genuinely care about their community and each other.”
