Now This is Really F'd Up

5 months ago New England Sports Network (NESN) hired Marc James as an Anchor/Reporter at the station.

When he worked at a Tampa radio station, he used the name Marc Benarzyk and then changed it to James.

It seems like many of TV, James has a very large and very fragile ego.

Alyssa Labrie says she was doing a photoshoot was randomly approached on the street by a man who told her he "worked in the industry," and she later discovered was a TV sports host.

It was Marc James.

The two exchanged phone numbers and while Labrie thought it was a professional connection, it appears James thought it was a chick he could score.

Labrie says James was texting her a lot. "He would send me tons of photos of him at work," Labrie told the website babe.net.  She said it felt really strange because she wasn’t responding.

This went on for weeks and then James asked her out. She tried to let him down nicely, but James then turned from a serial texter to a total dick.

Labrie posted some of the exchange on her social media.

After her nicely worded kiss off, James's ego was badly bruised and turned nasty very quickly, playing the "I'm on TV" card as soon as possible.

Watch how quick this escalates:

Labrie says that she, "took his feelings into consideration a lot more than I should have."Adding  "but what is he going to do to the girl in the club who says 'no' or 'get off of me'?"

"I've gone through red flags trying to find the line between creepy and threatening, and this felt threatening," Labrie said.

Ali Reid, a journalist who is attending Emerson and interened NESN, reached out to James for comment. James claims that he didn't send the texts and they were sent by a female friend of his. It's hard to believe, since how would his "female friend" know all the details?

It appears that this guy wanted a date, didn't get it, played the "I'm on TV" card and then attacked the woman for just saying no.

Let's hope that the bosses at NESN have a sit down with Marc James (or whatever his name is?) and explain to him this is not the way to treat women.

No word if Marc James has a Harvey Weinstein poster on his wall, next to his Tom Brady poster.
