FTVLive starts the day with a heavy heart.....

Arnold Palmer has passed away.

You don't have to be a golfer to know the name Arnold Palmer. He was the guy that put golf on the map. He was the guy that made the game what it is today.

I'm not old enough to remember remember Palmer in his heyday, but I know what he did for the game.

Palmer died at 87 years old and it is likely no one packed more good times into 87 years, than Palmer.

I had the chance to meet Mr. Palmer a few times. As anyone that knows Palmer will tell you, after a few seconds with The King, he would make you feel like you and he had been friends for years.

Today, I will enjoy a half ice tea, half lemonade and lift a glass to The King.

You did it right Arnie and there will never be another one like you.
