Two and Out in Tucson

Back in November 2014, KVOA hired Steve Ryan as their new main male Anchor. 

At the time, KVOA News Director Cathie Batbie said, "We are very fortunate to get a journalist of Steve’s caliber to help lead our newsroom.”

Well now Ryan's bio has been scrubbed from the station's website and a call to KVOA gets the old, "He no longer works here." quote. 

Ryan didn't even make it two years and he's gone. He came to Tucson from KTVK in Phoenix.

“Not only has he been on the big stage covering major stories that have captivated our nation’s attention, but he’s also worked extensively on the local level,” Batbie said when they hired the Anchor.

Well now, Ryan has left the station, stage left and no one is saying why? You know, because the communications business.
