Maria Molina is leaving her post as meteorologist for 'The Firm' to get her PhD. She's headed to Central Michigan University but will still keep her hand in TV by working part-time at WJBK.
We're sure there are going to be some Detroit viewers who live in their Mom's basement, that are going to be very happy.
