The May book is over and it is time for stations that didn't do so well to make some changes.

At WBAL in Baltimore, the station is doing a big Anchor shake up.

The station announced that  Deborah Weiner will join Stan Stovall weeknights as co-anchor of Baltimore's No. 1 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts. At the same time, Ashley Hinson will join WBAL-TV to co-anchor the station's 5 p.m. newscast and WBAL-TV 11 News at 10 p.m. on MeTV Baltimore with Andre Hepkins.

Weiner replaces Donna Hamilton who retired from the anchor desk.

"We are thrilled to have Deborah join Stan Stovall at the anchor desk," Dan Joerres, president and general manager of WBAL-TV 11, said in a statement. "Her 16 years with WBAL-TV 11 as a breaking news anchor and member of the 11 News I-Team have established her as a newsroom leader, making her a great fit for this position."

Hinson comes to WBAL-TV 11 News from WPTV-TV in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she served as both an anchor and reporter. Prior to West Palm Beach, Ashley was an anchor in her home state of Texas at KAMC-TV.

"Ashley is a terrific addition to the WBAL-TV news team. Her experience covering breaking news, like the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, has prepared her for a significant role in our Live. Local. Latebreaking. newsroom," Joerres said.
